Appointments & Fees
Often clients contact me by email first. I then request a short telephone conversation to take some details and get a sense of what’s happening for them. Following this I offer a free 20 minute consultation which gives the client an opportunity to meet me and ask some questions. Alternatively, appointments can be booked over the phone. My practice is based in the village of Somersham close to St. Ives, Huntingdon and Ely. There is ample free off -road parking, with easy access to a comfortable ground floor consulting room and accessible cloakroom facilities.
How long do sessions last?
Individual counselling sessions last between 50 mins and 1 hour. Allow a little more time for the assessment/consultation.
How long would I need counselling for?
A difficult question to answer but short-term work is mostly 8 to 12 sessions. Long-term work is available if appropriate. Your needs will be discussed during the initial consultation.
Fees for individual work.
Assessment £45.00. On-going sessions: £37.00.
Reduced fees for student counsellors negotiated.
Groupwork is more cost effective than individual work.

It is expected that missed sessions and cancelled sessions will be paid for.
I’m registered with Bupa and most private health insurers. Please contact your provider for details and for a pre-authorisation number if requested.
